A: The Walk Across Arkansas program is a fun way to fit more physical activity into your schedule. Benefits of physical activity include, strengthened relationships with family and friends, weight loss, increased energy, controlled stress,
lowered blood pressure, and improved blood panel.
Q: Is only walking allowed?
A: No! You can do any type of physical activity as long as you
increase your heart rate or break a sweat. National physical activity guidelines recommend that adults achieve at least 150 minutes of aerobic physical activity and two strength training sessions per week
Q: Do I have to join a team?
A: Yes! Joining a team provides support to help you reach your goals.
Q: Do team members have to physically active at the same time?
A: No, team members do not have to be physically active together.
